Harry Potter - J.K Rowling

Today, I will be blogging on one of the most popular book series worldwide, "Harry Potter" by J.K Rowling.

The genre of this book series is fantasy fiction. The story is set in Great Britain.

The story chronicles the life of a young wizard, Harry Potter, and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The main story arc concerns Harry's struggles against a very powerful wizard named Voldemort, who intends to become immortal and overthrow the wizard governing body known as the Ministry Of Magic.

The series has seven books :
  1. Harry Potter and the Philospher's Stone
  2. Harry Potter and the Chamber Of Secrets
  3. Harry Potter and the Prisoner Of Azkaban
  4. Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire
  5. Harry Potter and the Order Of The Phoenix
  6. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
  7. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Each of these novels portray an encounter with Voldemort (Except Prisoner Of Azkaban)in which Harry always wins with the help of Ron and Hermione .

It is in Deathly Hallows, that Harry finally overpowers Voldemort and kills him, though by that time several of his dear ones die by the hands of Voldemort's followers.

Few reasons why I like this series is, Rowling creates so much excitement from her narration. She connects the plots together in a seamless thread and never once, does the thread break. She brings in so many emotions such as love, anger, hatred, determination and loyalty.

My favourite characters in this series are Fred and George Weasley .They are brothers of Ron.They are both jovial and are pranksters. They bring in a bright prospective to the series. Unfortunately, Fred dies in battle and George loses a ear in the end of the series.😞😠😠

This is my favourite book series and I would definitely recommend this for you.😁😃
