Lasooni Dal Tadka : My experience on preparing this delicacy
As it has been a long time since I have posted a blog on a food item, today I have decided to blog on my experience in preparing my favourite type of dal curry, "Lasooni Dal Tadka".
Lasooni translates to garlic and Dal translates to lentils. As the name suggests, the main ingredient in the Lasooni dal is the garlic which gives it a unique flavour. I will be sharing the recipe and the directions for preparing it as well.
As I had only devoured and relished the Lasooni dal tadka before, I was thrilled at the fact that I was going to cook it. I started with boiling the water and then added the lentils. As I did each step with utmost carefulness, the joy in me started creeping up my spine. In due time, the dish was ready; I resolved to eat it hot.
When I tasted the dal, I had only one thought in my mind, Wooah!! The flavour of the garlic had infused with the flavours of the lentils and onions. The flavours of the spices had added to the palatable taste.
I would strongly recommend you to try out this dish as it will be very tasty. I would recommend you to have it with rice as well. The recipe and the directions for preparing it are below:
