In this post, I will be blogging on my all time favourite comic series - "The Adventures of Tintin".

 Written and created by Belgian author, Herge, this comic series was one of the most popular ones during the 20th century. The main story arc concerns the adventures of a young reporter named Tintin and his dog Snowy. He is accompanied by two of his friends, Captain Haddock and Professor Calculus. There are twenty four books in this series. All through the books, they end up solving mysteries in the countries which they are in instead of holidaying there.😅

Few reasons I am head over heels in love with this book series is because of the action and suspense in the stories. The way Tintin escapes from the trickiest of situations is simply a treat to read. It always blows me away!! The books are loaded with jokes and witty puns and it always make me shriek with laughter!!

My favourite book in the series is "The Calculus Affair". I love this book due to its stupendous story line and supercalifragilisticexpialidocious  jokes. As two nations fight for Professor Calculus's invention, Tintin and Captain Haddock escape with Calculus right under their noses.

My favourite character is Captain Haddock. Through misunderstandings and misfalls, he entertains everyone with his brash yet kind hearted mannerisms.

I would stongly recommend you to read this book series as I am sure you will love it!!😃
